Over the years, National Oilwell Varco’s Downhole division has grown its sales team exponentially around the world. While there were existing sales reporting tools available in each region, there was no efficient and effective way to capture the understanding of the current and future marketshare that each salesperson had gathered in their regional area.
Our solution
ProAce developed a Web based worldwide market comparison tool which allowed for the integration and consolidation of the sales teams’ region-specific market behavior with the internal sales figures and regional rig count reports. It also allowed the sales team to communicate new formation application ideas for specific drill bit usage in the field.
