Shortly after ProAce’s custom built auction software went live, E-Surplus was able to reallocate half of its administrative team thanks to the automated tools and the streamlining of its procurement made possible by new proprietary software.
The challenge
After couple of decades in busienss, E-Surplus was experiencing some operational bottlenecks. As business grew so did the demand for accounting and administration tasks – both extremely labor intensive and costly at the time. After each auction ended, countless hours were spent by the staff gathering, consolidating, and reporting on sensitive and error-prone financial data. This was becoming a major road block for E-Surplus in scaling its operations.
Our solution
ProAce developed a Web based auction and accounting application which streamlined the entire auction procurement process. Starting from bulk uploading of the auctions to automatic invoice generation, payment processing, collection, etc. and all the way to financial reporting dashboards accessible by E-Surplus administrative staff and its clients through a simple web interface.
