What is ASP.NET?
ASP.NET is a Web application framework built by Microsoft that allows developers to build dynamic, database-driven Web applications and software. Web pages in .NET are often built as Web Forms with a “.aspx” extension, however we have strategically moved most of our software applications to follow the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern to increase efficiency and scalability.
ASP.NET software is typically built in Microsoft’s Visual Studio coding environment and supports the C# and Visual Basic (VB) programming languages among others.
