Wilshire wigs is also a primary supplier of hairgoods to movie studios, television shows, and theatrical productions. Custom wigs and hairpieces can also be purchased, created by their staff of wig specialists.
Business Challenge- Bogged down by excessive and unnecessary queries, the previous website was unable to support the large volume of customers Wilshire Wigs’ website received, causing major slowdown in the load times for certain portions of the website. Furthermore, the previous website was running on a pre-packaged content management system that was designed to be all-purpose and was not well-suited for the needs of Wilshire Wigs. They needed a system that was designed with their business needs in mind that could handle the traffic they receive regularly without any signs of slowdown.
How PROACE Helped- PROACE helped by first examining the existing website and content management system to determine bottlenecks in the system, then looked at the admin control panel to figure out which areas could be improved to better suit the needs of the company. Once that information was obtained, a new website was created from scratch using the existing design, only with a new backend. Then a new admin section was written with Wilshire’s needs in mind.
