Top 5 Web metrics that really matter

Take a lesson from retailers in the mall--they know what the important elements are that can make or break a store's success. Shop owners intuitively look at just the few things they know mean dollars at the register. So I recommend looking at fewer, more telling measurements at first and improving only those. The rest of the success metrics to test, track and tweak will follow.

A fresh start

After years of having the same site and only updating it when we weren't slammed with work, we decided to go a different route. We have started our own blog. It will be about the company, cool technology and our work. In fact, it is hard to even call it work because we love what we do. Our developers actually code for fun when they are on vacation. Our marketing people practice what they preach and know how to make money with marketing. We have even run our own social networking site. And now we feel we needed a less stodgy, more relaxed space where we can share what we do, know and love.
